Hey! My name is Kristen and I have had a camera in my hands since I was about 10 years old. For several years, I just took pictures as a side hobby, but the older I got, the more I realized wanted to pursue photography more seriously. I used to stress out about making sure my shots were perfectly posed when I first started out, but I have realized it isn’t about capturing the perfect Pinterest shot, but more about telling the story of each individual, couple, or family through capturing genuine emotion and connection. Lifestyle photography is my current passion, which is more of a casual style of photography and more about fun prompts than stiff poses. (but don’t get me wrong, I do like a few posed pictures here and there.) My goal as a photographer is for my clients to look at their photos and see their personality or personal love story captured accurately through the pictures I take.
